WHAT’S BLACK GIRL MAGIC DAY?

It’s more than an event – it’s a celebration of confidence, creativity, and sisterhood for little girls ages 2–13. From glam stations to affirmations, every moment is designed to remind each girl how magical she already is.

Honoring Young Girls of Color With Beauty, Joy & Power

At Black Girl Magic Day, we create space for girls ages 2–13 to feel seen, celebrated, and unstoppable.

In a world that often overlooks their brilliance, we roll out the pink carpet — literally — and shower them with love, affirmations, and moments they’ll never forget.

From mini makeovers and affirmations to photo ops and dance breaks, every part of the day is designed to remind each girl that she is enough just as she is — bold, beautiful, and bursting with magic.

OUR MISSION

We believe Black Girl Magic Day and the Black Girl Magic Day Club should always be free for the girls who need it most. That’s why we launched the Black Girl Magic Day Store. Every purchase directly supports the annual event and funds the programs we’re building through the Club. A percentage of every sale goes toward keeping this movement alive, accessible, and impactful for every girl.

— We Need You

We’re working to make Black Girl Magic Day a National Day of Celebration for girls ages 2–18 — and we can’t do it without your support.

In a world that often overlooks their brilliance, we roll out the pink carpet — literally — and shower them with love, affirmations, and moments they’ll never forget.

Learn how you can help us make Black Girl Magic Day a National Day of Celebration — or support our current annual event — by calling or contacting Tanika Salmon at 646-531-0523.

But for right now, you can sign and share our petition here.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with our girls. 💜

A Virtual After-School Program for Girls Ages 5–13

We’re excited to launch the pilot year of the Black Girl Magic Day Club — a safe, virtual after-school space designed to inspire and uplift young girls.

  • Starting with girls ages 5–13

  • Weekly virtual meetups filled with fun, affirmations, and activities

  • Creative projects that spark self-expression and confidence

  • Building sisterhood, support, and empowerment beyond Black Girl Magic Day

This pilot program is just the beginning — and we’d love for your girl to be part of shaping the future of the club.

Note: This program is community-driven and requires funding to grow. We’re actively seeking sponsors and supporters to help bring the vision to life.
